The privacy of your data is a big deal to us. We say “your data” intentionally because it belongs to you. We only access your data when necessary, such as to help you with a problem, fix a software bug, or perform maintenance on our systems. We’ll never sell your data to third parties, or use it in any way that is not outlined in this document.
When you use Gazelle, we collect and process your personally identifiable information like your account credentials, name, email address, phone number, and other necessary information. This information is used to provide our services, personalize your account, record your transactions, and to correspond with you. We do not collect data about you that is not required for our legitimate business interests, administration, or business operations.
When you contact Gazelle with questions or ask for help, we will keep a record of that correspondence and the details of your inquiry for future reference. If you browse our marketing pages or request a publication, we keep record of this data along with any other information you volunteer for up to a year.
The only times we’ll share your data are:
Gazelle won’t hand your data over to law enforcement unless we receive a court order. We will always inform you when such requests are made, unless we are legally prevented from doing so.
All of your data is encrypted via SSL/TLS every step of the way. This is just one of many measures we take to ensure your data is protected. All information is encrypted in transit and at rest, access to our servers is protected by a firewall with restricted access groups, and internally we only access your data at your request or when dealing with a support or maintenance issue. All data is written to multiple disks simultaneously, backed up hourly, and stored encrypted in multiple locations around the world.
Should we become aware of any data breach within our system, we will notify you within 72 hours of discovering the breach.
Gazelle provides optional third party integrations to provide you with services that you request. We only share data to provide you with services you request, nothing else.
Gazelle provides an optional integration with Google Calendar to allow you to block out scheduling availability during times that an event exists on your Google Calendar. If you choose to enable this integration we will periodically read your Google Calendar and store a list of the time slots you’re unavailable. We will never make any changes to your Google data. We never transfer data from your Google Calendar to third parties or share it other than to provide you with the services you request. All of your Google data is encrypted as described above. Disabling this integration removes your Google Calendar data from our servers.
You may request your data be deleted from our systems and our third party providers at any time. Any deleted data will be removed from our system and purged from our backups within 60 days. At the time of your request we will also ask our third party providers to remove all your information. While your account is active, anything you delete (like a piano or client record) will also be entirely removed from our system and purged from our backups within 60 days.
If your account remains inactive for one full year, we will remove all traces of your data from our system, but not before making multiple attempts to contact you, giving you ample opportunity to reactivate your account. An account is deemed inactive if no payment has been processed & no user has logged in within the past 365 days.
See our EU-US and Swiss-US Privacy Shield Policy for the full details.
Gazelle may update this policy from time to time. We’ll notify you about significant changes by emailing the account owner or placing a prominent notice on your account. You can access, change, or delete your personal data at any time by contacting Gazelle:
